I'm running for Senate because I believe in District O, in its people, and in what we can build together. The status quo and "hold the line" mentality no longer work and it's time to push into a new frontier of being proactive with the people that we elect and send to Juneau to represent us.

I want you to get to know me, and that begins with my family.

When I share that my great-grandfather, Bob Reeve, pioneered ski plane takeoffs and landings in the Valdez mudflats when others said it couldn't be done, you'll understand where my grit and determination comes from.

When I share that my grandfather, Don Sheldon, started one of the first air taxi services in Talkeetna, flying the Alaska Range, making daring rescues, and landing on glaciers few believed possible, you'll understand my instinct to ask, what is possible? And when I share that my Grammy Roberta, carried forward a life of public service, conservation and entrepreneurship after Don's tragic passing, you'll understand the strength and purpose that guide me.

When I share that my maternal grandparents were entrepreneurs, volunteers and industry leaders in Anchorage, you'll understand my belief in a strong economy, one that allows Alaskans to live, work, and build their lives here.

When I share that I was raised by lifelong Alaskans and small business owners who introduced me to the beauty, culture, and people of this state, and gave me opportunities to travel the world, you'll understand why I listen to learn.

When I share that I'm the middle of three brothers (a Marine and Air Force veteran), you'll understand I learned the importance of respect, loyalty, and support, because while we've each chosen different paths, we stand behind one another fully and without hesitation.

When I share that I am an entrepreneur, you'll understand that I approach challenges with determination, listen to gain perspective, and make decisions grounded in both experience and understanding.
